Rohm and Haas Reductive Bleaching technologies are based upon the in-situ generation of Sodium Hydrosulfite (Na₂S₂O₄). Our technology is used primarily for bleaching of Mechanical Pulp and Recycled Pulp. It has the potential to outperform reducing agents such as Hydro powder, TUDO or FAS.
