FASTRACK™ HD-21A Features

Tough and durable

  • Where do line-marking paints get the toughest wear in the shortest period of time? On racetracks, where speeding car tires, heat and repeated turns take a toll on marking paints. FASTRACK™ HD-21A has shown its worth in 24 hour races on the tough, Interlagos Racetrack in Brazil. Lines stay visible during the race because FASTRACK™ HD-21A resists black tire marks better than other marking paints do.

  • Where do line-marking paints get the toughest wear over the longest period of time? On airport runways. Centerlines on runways can be three feet wide and each line 120 feet long so they can be seen from a long way off. Wide lines need to be marked with flexible products like FASTRACK™ HD-21A so they don’t crack and are tough enough to take a pounding from jet liner tires minute by minute, day after day, week after week, month after month.

Retains larger glass beads for better reflectivity

  • High reflectivity in traffic markings relies on glass beads. Bigger glass beads provide greater reflectivity and enhanced visibility. FASTRACK™ HD-21A can be applied thicker to hold bigger glass beads for optimum reflectivity.

Quick drying

  • FASTRACK™ HD-21A dries quicker because the resins in FASTRACK™ HD-21A are chemically constructed to shorten drying time to minutes. The quickset technology means that paint crews can work faster, coning periods are shorter and traffic gets back to normal sooner.

Waterborne means lower VOCs

  • VOCs - volatile organic compounds - are a threat to workers and the environment. As a waterborne technology, FASTRACK™ HD-21A emits greatly lower VOCs than solventborne paints. FASTRACK™ HD-21A has made its mark on highways running through environmentally sensitive areas of the world, such as Brazil’s Pantanal, a wetland and wildlife refuge the size of the state of Colorado.
