Rohm and Haas has introduced a new platform for its PARALOID™ KM product line – a series of all-acrylic, weatherable impact modifiers for vinyl window extrusions.

This new innovative product line enables users to choose from a suite of optimized products delivering specific performances to their PVC window profile product lines. We understand the ranges of performance required for PVC applications and that one impact modifier doesn’t fit for all. Therefore, each product in this series offers a different balance of performance properties, such as Gardner Impact, gloss, Izod Impact, and low temperature impact.     

This new technology also allows for a wider processing window. With a wider window, manufacturing efficiencies can be gained.
