| How
AVANSE Resins Beat Others to
Deliver Lower VOC Products |
back
|
AVANSE™ 412
emits low levels of volatile organic
compounds (VOCs), making it less
threatening resins to the environment
and to users than solventborne. Low
VOC profiles are the result of spherical
latex particles forming a closely
packed layer in the waterborne base.
Particles meld as the polymer chains
diffuse to form a continuous film.
Solventborne coatings emit high levels
of VOCs in part because they depend
on evaporation, not crosslinking,
for their film structure.
AVANSE™ technology
is unique in this ability to greatly
reduce VOC emissions.
