Jonathan Hastings joined Rohm and Haas in 2003 as a Strategic Marketing Director in Adhesives and Sealants. He went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility including European General Manager for Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants. In 2007, Mr. Hasting began his current role at Rohm and Haas as General Manager, Packaging and Building Materials, Europe. He was elected a Vice President in September 2007.

Before joining Rohm and Haas Mr. Hastings worked with Marakon Associates as a strategy consultant advising several Fortune 100 companies as well as with DuPont in several capacities including technology, manufacturing, strategic planning and market development in the polymers, fibers and pigments businesses.  Mr. Hastings has experience in several industries including energy, oil and gas, financial services, aerospace and equipment manufacturing.

He earned his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1984, his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of S. Carolina in 1987 and his MBA from Wharton in 1996. 

He and his family reside in Switzerland.
