Who We Are

The Rohm and Haas company is one of the world's largest manufacturers of specialty chemicals.  Based in Philadelphia, the company has 150 facilities in 25 countries, employing over 20,000 people.  Rohm and Haas is the recipient of numerous awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including two Presidential Green Chemistry Awards, the only company to win the award twice.

The Cincinnati facility is located in the northern suburb of Reading, and produces specialty chemicals used to manufacture vinyl siding and windows, PVC pipe and fittings, plastic bottles and blister packaging.  We have been ISO registered since 1993, and achieved ISO 9001-2000 registration in November, 2003.  For more information on our products, please visit our Products page.

Our site employs a staff of 110 people.  Our commitment to safety, the community and quality manufacturing practices has been a local tradition for many years. We are a member of The American Chemistry council, a trade association that oversees the implementation of Responsible Care®.  We are also a founding member of the local Alliance for Chemical Safety.  Our commitment to responsible operation standards is sincere and firm.
