 Raj
L. Gupta joined Rohm and Haas in 1971 as a financial analyst.
He held positions of increasing responsibility during the
decade, including a two-year stint as special assistant
to the president of the company.
In 1979, he began work
in Europe, first as financial manager of the U.K. subsidiary,
then as strategic planning director for the region, and
finally as assistant manager for the company's substantial
operations in France.
In 1984, Mr. Gupta was named business
manager for Ion Exchange Resins in Europe. In 1987, he
took on the responsibilities of business director for Plastics
in Europe. Two years later, Mr. Gupta became business unit
director for the worldwide Plastics Additives business.
He
was elected a vice president of the company and was named
director for the Pacific Region in 1993. Early in 1996,
Mr. Gupta became one of six members of the Chairman's Committee
and given oversight responsibility for the company's Electronic
Materials business group.
In December 1998, Mr. Gupta was
elected to the Board of Directors and named Vice Chairman
in January 1999. He became Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer on October 1, 1999.
Mr. Gupta holds a B.S. degree
in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of
Technology (1967), a M.S. degree in Operations Research
from Cornell University (1969), and a M.B.A. in Finance
from Drexel University (1972).
Mr. Gupta is the immediate
past Chairman of the American Chemistry Council, and the
Society of Chemical Industry, America Section. He sits
on the board of trustees for Drexel University. He is a
member of the boards of Tyco, The Vanguard Group, the American
Chemistry Council, and the Chemical Heritage Foundation.
Mr. Gupta has been elected, effective January 2009, to
the Board of Directors of Hewlett-Packard Company.
He and his wife, Kamla, are residents of
Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

 Thomas
L. Archibald joined Rohm and Haas in 1972 as a development
engineer in the Louisville Plant. He remained at the
plant until 1981 holding positions of increasing responsibility,
including development group leader, process technologist
and production manager.
In 1982, Mr. Archibald moved to the
Bayport Plant to assume the position of manufacturing manager. Three
years later, he was named operations director for the Latin
American Region. In 1988, he became manager of Process
Engineering at the Engineering Division in Bristol, Pennsylvania. He
returned to Louisville in 1990 when he was promoted to the
position of plant manager.
Elected a vice president in 1997, Mr.
Archibald was named Director of Engineering and Manufacturing
at that time. He
assumed his present position in 1999.
Mr. Archibald earned
a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University
in 1972.
He is a member of the board of the Delaware
Valley Chapter of Junior Achievement.

 Harish
Badami joined Rohm and Haas in India in 1995. He has held
positions of increasing responsibility in sales and business
development, regional procurement and strategic planning.
In October 2001, he was appointed Managing Director of
Rohm and Haas India, and also Area Business Manager overseeing
two core businesses of Rohm and Haas - Coatings and Adhesives & Sealants.
He was instrumental in leading the India entry strategy
for Rohm and Haas, of which the investment in a state-of-art
manufacturing plant at Taloja, Mumbai in 2003 and a newly
constructed plant in Chennai, are key components. In
October 2004, Mr. Badami assumed the position of General
Manager, Architectural and Functional Coatings for South
East Asia and India, based in Singapore. In January 2007,
Mr. Badami, was named President and Managing Director Rohm
and Haas India. Mr. Badami was appointed a vice president
of Rohm and Haas Company in September 2007.
Before joining
Rohm and Haas, Mr. Badami spent six years with ICI India
and served in ICI’s Chemicals and
Catalysts divisions in various commercial and business
roles. He also spent a year in the gases industry with
British Oxygen Company, early in his career.
Mr. Badami
earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering
from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1985,
and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta
in 1989.

 Patrice
Barthelmes joined Rohm and Haas in 1999 as president of
Shipley European Group. He was elected a Vice President
of Rohm and Haas Vice President in 2001. Later that year
he became responsible for the global Circuit Board Technology
organization and for all of Electronic Materials in Europe.
In early 2004, he took on the added role of president of
Rohm and Haas France. In May 2005, Mr. Barthelmes was named
Director of the Plastic Additives Business Unit while maintaining
his role of President of Rohm and Haas France.
In January
2007, Mr. Barthelmes, began his current role of business
unit director for Packaging and Building Materials.
Prior
to joining Rohm and Haas, Mr. Barthelmes had an extensive
career starting in 1983 with Air Liquide Group, where he
held positions in Research and Development, and in Marketing.
In 1989, he joined the Sanofi Group where he was vice president
for Marketing and Sales for the Technical Gelatine Division.
When SKW acquired this business from Sanofi, his responsibility
was extended to the whole Gelatine Division. When he left
in 1989, he was senior Vice President and General Manager
for the Flavors and Fruit Preparations Division.
Mr. Barthelmes
obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from INSA Toulouse
(France) in 1983. He earned an M.S. degree in International
Management from IMD Business School, Lausanne (Switzerland)
in 1988.

Maria Bermudez joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1989, and
has held increasing levels of responsibility in a variety
of roles, including Quality Engineer Apizaco Plant, Mexico,
HR Manager, Rohm and Haas Mexico, Mexico, Account Manager
Paper & Graphic Arts, Mexico, HR Regional Director
LAR, Miami, Fl, HR role plus Country Manager Rohm and Haas
Mexico, Mexico City, Country Manager Mexico plus CIS Business
Manager, Mexico City, and LAR General Manager, Paint and
Coatings Materials, Mexico City and most recently Operations,
Human Resources, Sales and General Management.
In 2007 Mr.
Bermudez began his current assignment as Latin American
Regional (LAR) Director. In addition, he
is Latin American Region General Manager for Paint and
Coatings Materials. In this role, Mr. Bermudez is responsible
for the execution of the company's growth plans in the
Latin American Region. He was appointed a Vice President
of Rohm and Haas Company in September 2007.
He received
a BS in Chemical Engineering at University of Las Americas
Mexico, an MS in Quality Management at Tampa College, Florida
USA, and a Master in Business Administration at Vanderbilt

R. Brondeau joined Rohm and Haas Company in May 1989 as
European marketing manager for the Plastics Additives
business unit located in Paris. In 1991, he transferred
to Valbonne, France to head the Technical Service and
Development Laboratories.
Dr. Brondeau was promoted to
director of Plastics Additives Research in 1993, and moved
to Shipley Company as director, Research, Sales and Marketing
in 1995. Since then, Dr. Brondeau has held top leadership
positions at Shipley Company, including vice president,
Operations and Technology (1997), and president and chief
operating officer (1999). In April 1999, Dr. Brondeau
was named vice president and business group director of
the Electronic Materials Division, and president and CEO
of Shipley Company. This group was later renamed Rohm
and Haas Electronic Materials. He added responsibilities
as the European Regional director in 2003. In October
2006, Dr. Brondeau was named executive vice president
and business group executive for the newly created Specialty
Materials business. In May 2008, Dr. Brondeau was elected
President and Chief Operating Officer and is a member
of the Chairman’s Committee. Dr.
Brondeau serves as a member of the board of directors
of Tyco Electronics.
Prior to joining Rohm and Haas, Dr.
Brondeau worked at Air Liquide in France. He earned a
B.S. degree in Biochemical Engineering at INSA France
(1980), a M.S. degree in Biochemical Engineering at the
University of Montpellier, France (1981), and a Ph.D.

 Neil
Carr joined Rohm and Haas Company in 2006 in a newly
created position of Director, Business Transformation.
Mr. Carr provided leadership and support for significant
business transformation initiatives, with his first effort
to work on the evaluation of the company’s legal
structure in Europe and the potential consolidation of
strategic positions with European responsibilities in
a central location. In 2007, Mr. Carr was named Director
of Procurement and Logistics. In this role, Mr. Carr
continued to build on goals and strategies of the Procurement
and Logistics organization and assure continuity in initiatives
and relationships with suppliers and vendors. He was
elected a Vice President in September 2007.
In June 2008,
Mr. Carr was named Vice-President, General Manager, Paint
and Coatings Materials, North America. Before joining
Rohm and Haas Company, Mr. Carr was President Managing
Director at Elementis Specialties, LLC., a manufacturer
of specialty additives and pigment dispersions. Mr. Carr
also worked with Smithkline Beecham in a number of functional
and commercial roles.
He holds an MBA from the Kingston
Business School, London, as well as an Economics degree
from Cardiff University, South Wales.

 Ruby
Chandy joined Rohm and Haas Company in 2007 as Vice President,
Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Ms. Chandy will
work closely with the senior management team to lead
the growth and evolution of the marketing function within
the company. She also has oversight
responsibilities for the Advanced Materials and AgroFresh
businesses.
Ms. Chandy joins the company with an impressive
background in marketing and business management leadership
for several science and technical-based organizations. Most
recently she has served as Vice President; Chief Marketing
Officer for Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporation, where
she served since 2001 in key business leadership roles. Prior
to Thermo Fisher, Ruby led businesses at Boston Scientific
and Millipore. At Millipore she worked as a senior executive
in marketing and general management roles in the Liquid
Products Division. Ms. Chandy held general management
positions at Boston Scientific Corporation. She began
her career at McKinsey and Company in Boston, focusing
on marketing engagements for consumer goods and high
technology clients
Ms. Chandy holds a B.S. in Materials
Science and Engineering from MIT, as well as graduate
degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern
University, and a MBA from the MIT Sloan School. She
has served as a Director of Idex Corporation since 2006.

M. Croisetière was elected a vice president of
Rohm and Haas Company in 1999 when the company purchased
Morton International, Inc. He was named business director
of Ion Exchange Resins at that time. Two years later,

Specialty Solutions business, as well as director of
the European Region, based in Paris, France.
Mr. Croisetière
was elected Chief Financial Officer effective June 1,
2003. He was named Chief Strategy Officer in 2008. He
is a member of the Chairman’s Committee.
Mr. Croisetière
joined Morton International, Inc. (MII) in 1990 as vice
president of Finance for Canadian Salt. Three years later,
he assumed the additional responsibility for MIS for
the Morton Salt group. In 1994, he was named vice president
of Finance for Adhesives and Specialty Polymers. In 1996,
he was named vice president, Finance and Administration,
of the Automotive Safety Product Division of MII in Ogden,
Utah. Two years later, Mr. Croisetière was named
vice president and general manager of Plastic Additives,
Biocides and Sealants.
Before joining Morton, Mr. Croisetière
served as director of Finance for Canadelle Inc., a division
of Sara Lee, from 1983 to 1990. Previously, he held financial
positions at the Bank of Montreal, Master Card Division.

 Mark
A. Douglas joined Rohm and Haas in 1988 in the Croydon,
UK office, after 10 years’ experience
in the private sector. In ensuing years, he held increasingly
responsible positions in marketing and sales representing:
Textiles/Nonwovens, Paper, and Specialty Polymers.
In
1996, Mr. Douglas joined the European operations team
for Polymers, Resins and Monomers where he was responsible
for Class A attainment. Two years later, he relocated
to Singapore as regional business manager for Specialty
Polymers and Adhesives, and shortly thereafter was named
Global Business Manager for Pressure Sensitive Adhesives.
In 2001, Mr. Douglas moved to the company's Philadelphia
headquarters assuming responsibilities as General Manager
for the Adhesives and Sealants business in North America.
In
2005, Mr. Douglas was named Procurement Director and
was elected a vice president of the company. He was named
to his current role in 2007. In this assignment, Mr.
Douglas is dedicated to leading the effort to realize
the potential of the region and achieving the ambitious
company goals set for Asia-Pacific in the company’s
Vision 2010 strategy.
Mark, his wife and two children will
relocate to Shanghai, China.

 Hua
Du joined Rohm and Haas Company as China Manager of the
company’s first Dongguan facility in January
1998. He was promoted to General Manager, China in January
2000. His responsibility expanded in May 2001 when
he took the additional role as the head of CBT business
Hong Kong / China. He was promoted to CBT General Manager-Hong
Kong and China in August 2004, and CBT General Manager-Asia
in May 2005.
Hua Du received the added responsibility
of Rohm and Haas China President in December 2007. As Rohm
and Haas China President, he is responsible for managing
the company’s external relationships with the various
levels of government. He is also participating
in industry-wide associations, as well as managing the
company’s growing infrastructure investment in
China.
He joined the Leadership Council
in January 2008. He
was also named Vice President in 2008.
Hua Du holds a Bachelor degree in
Chemistry from Beijing University, China and a PhD
in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois,
Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA.

 Carol
S. Eicher joined Rohm and Haas in 2000 as Business Director
for the Organic Specialties business, based in Philadelphia.
She was named Americas General Manager for the Printed
Wiring Board business of the wholly owned Shipley Company
subsidiary, based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, in 2001.
She also was named a Vice President of Shipley. The following
year, Ms. Eicher’s responsibilities
were expanded to include the European business as well.
In 2003, she returned to Philadelphia
to become Business Director for the Process Chemicals
business. She was elected a Vice President of Rohm and
Haas Company that year. In January 2007, Ms. Eicher led
the company’s newly
formed Packaging and Building Materials business in North
America, which combined Rohm and Haas’s adhesives,
plastics additives and functional polymers businesses.
She assumed her current role as Vice President and Business
Director for Primary Materials in May 2007.
Ms. Eicher had an extensive career
in the chemical industry before joining Rohm and Haas.
She held various manufacturing positions during a 13-years
career for DuPont. In
1983, she was part of the startup team for the Electronics
Technology Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
In 1990, she moved to Wilmington, Delaware to become global
manufacturing director for High Performance Film.
In May 1992, Ms. Eicher joined the Ashland Chemical Division
of Ashland, Inc. In 1996, she became general manager of
Refinery Petrochemicals and a Division Vice President.
In 1998, her responsibilities were expanded to include
the Engineering Department.
In August 2008, Tennant Company, world leader in environmental
cleaning solutions elected Carol S. Eicher to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Eicher is also Treasurer of the Fairmount Park Conservancy,
whose mission is to raise funds for the infrastructure
improvement of the 9,000 acres of public green space owned
by the City of Philadelphia. She is co-chair of the United
Way Loaned Executive Committee, and a member of the Southeastern
Pennsylvania (SEPA) United Way Campaign Committee. She
has served as a United Way volunteer for more than 30 years.
She holds a B.A. Degree in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (1979)
an MBA from the York College of Pennsylvania (1990),
and attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced
Management Program in 1997.
Ms. Eicher lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with her husband

Vice President; President and Business Unit Director, Microelectronic Technologies
 Jim
Fahey joined Rohm and Haas in 1995 as a product engineer
working on the IBM-Shipley DUV photoresist alliance. He
held several research and development and engineering roles
of increasing responsibility at Rohm and Haas in the Micro
business before being named R&D and Engineering director
for Circuit Board Technologies (CBT) in 2000. He
was named director of Marketing for CBT in 2002, and a
year later moved to Advanced Materials as Sales and Marketing
director. He was named business unit director of Advanced
Materials in 2004, and added responsibilities for the Digital
Imaging business in 2006.
In December 2007, Dr. Fahey
was named president and business unit director of the Electronic
Materials Microelectronic Technologies business. He
is a member of the Rohm and Haas Leadership Council.
Dr. Fahey
is based in the company’s Marlborough
facility.
Before joining Rohm and Haas, Dr. Fahey worked
in research and product development at IBM. He earned his
bachelor of science in Organic Chemistry from St. Francis
Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. He
obtained his masters of science in Polymer Chemistry and
his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Cornell University, and is
the author of numerous patents.

 Robert
J. Ferguson joined Morton Electronic Materials in 1990,
where he held several sales and marketing positions of
increasing responsibility. He moved to Automata,
Inc. in 1997, where he was named vice president, Sales
and Marketing, and returned to Morton Electronic Materials
in 1998 as director of Marketing.
Mr. Ferguson was
named Sales and Business Development director in 1999 when
Rohm and Haas acquired Morton International and its Electronic
Materials business. Two years
later, he was promoted to vice president of Sales and Marketing
for the Printed Wiring Board business, and became North
America general manager for the renamed Circuit Board Technologies
business in 2003.
The European region was added to Mr. Ferguson’s
general manager duties in 2005, and later that year, he
transferred to Rohm and Haas Company’s Plastics Additives
business as general manager for the Americas. In
January 2007, he assumed his current position. He was elected
a Vice President in September 2007.
Mr. Ferguson has more
than 20 years of experience in the electronics industry,
and currently serves on the board of directors of IPC,
a leading association serving the circuit board industry. His
educational background is in electrical engineering and
business management.
He is based at the company’s
new China Research and Development Center. Mr. Ferguson
and his family live in Shanghai, China.

Group Director, Paint and Coatings Materials
 Luis
Fernandez joined Rohm and Haas Mexico in 1983 as assistant
to the Operations Director. A year later,
he became a production area manager for Plexiglas sheet
in the Apizaco Plant. During the next decade, Mr. Fernandez
held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing
and business management, both in Philadelphia and Mexico
City. By 1996, he was working in Sao Paulo, Brazil, running
both the Specialty Polymers and Plastics businesses for
all of Latin America. In 1999, Mr. Fernandez headed to
Europe, first to become the regional business manager for
Specialty Polymers out of the UK office, and later, to
head the global Printing and Paper Technologies business,
based in the Paris office.
Relocating to the corporate headquarters
in 2001, Mr. Fernandez worked as the sales and marketing
director for the company's single largest business segment,
the $900 million Architectural and Functional Coatings
business in North America.
Mr. Fernandez was elected a vice
president and named regional director for Latin America
in 2002. Returning to
Philadelphia in 2004, he became Business Director for Plastics
Additives. He assumed his Vice President and Business Unit
Director titles in April 2005. He began his current role
in January 2007.
Attending the Universidad Iberoamericana,
Mr. Fernandez earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He
also attended the Wharton School of Business at the University
of Pennsylvania. Mr. Fernandez is fluent in four
languages.
He and his wife, Martha, reside in Bluebell,
Pennsylvania, with their two children.

 Clive
Grannum joined Rohm and Haas as Global Marketing Director
for Packaging and Building Materials in March 2007. Shortly
thereafter, in July 2007, Mr. Grannum was appointed North
American Region (NAR) General Manager for Packaging and
Building Materials and elected a member of the company’s
Leadership Council. In September 2007, he was elected a
Vice President of Rohm and Haas.
Prior to joining Rohm and
Haas, Mr. Grannum had a very extensive and successful career
in multiple industries spanning specialty chemicals, industrial
gases and aerospace. Most recently, he served as Senior
Vice President, Uniqema and Vice President of The ICI Group.
In this capacity he drove the turnaround and significant
profitable growth of this specialty chemicals business.
Prior
to The ICI Group, Mr. Grannum successfully ran various
businesses and functional roles at The BOC Group including:
Vice President and General Manager, Packaged Systems; Vice
President, Global Glass Markets and Director of Finance
and Strategic Planning for North America.
Mr. Grannum holds
a B.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University
and a Masters Degree in Management from Yale University.
He
resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his family.

 Michael
G. Hamilton began his career with Rohm and Haas in 1991
in a sales role in Canada. After assuming increasing sales
and marketing responsibilities in Canada, he relocated
to Philadelphia in 1995, as a regional marketing manager
in the acrylic polymers business. He then transferred to
the Frankfurt, Germany office in 1997 for a Group Market
Manager role in the Coatings group. In 2001, he was named
European General Manager of the Architectural and Functional
Coatings business.
In 2003, Mr. Hamilton returned to Philadelphia
as the company's Director of Investor Relations. In 2004
he moved to Singapore as the Asia Pacific Business Director
for the Performance Chemicals and Adhesives and Sealants
Business Groups. Mr. Hamilton assumed his current position
and was elected Vice President of Rohm and Haas Company
in 2006
Mr. Hamilton obtained an Honors Degree in
Chemistry (BSc.) from the University of Western Ontario
(Canada) in 1989. He then earned an MBA from the Ivey Business
School (Canada) in 1991.
Mr. Hamilton resides in Wayne,
Pennsylvania with his wife and four children.

 Jonathan
Hastings joined Rohm and Haas in 2003 as a Strategic Marketing
Director in Adhesives and Sealants. He went on to hold
positions of increasing responsibility including European
General Manager for Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants. In
2007, Mr. Hasting began his current role at Rohm and Haas
as General Manager, Packaging and Building Materials, Europe.
He was elected a Vice President in September 2007.
Before
joining Rohm and Haas Mr. Hastings worked with Marakon
Associates as a strategy consultant advising several Fortune
100 companies as well as with DuPont in several capacities
including technology, manufacturing, strategic planning
and market development in the polymers, fibers and pigments
businesses. Mr. Hastings has experience in several
industries including energy, oil and gas, financial services,
aerospace and equipment manufacturing.
He earned his Bachelors
in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1984,
his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of S. Carolina in 1987 and his MBA from Wharton in 1996.
He

 Bruce
Hoechner joined Rohm and Haas in 1981 as a process design
engineer in Corporate Engineering. He transferred
to the Bayport, Texas plant in 1983 as plant engineer.
In 1985 Mr. Hoechner moved to the Home Office to assume
the position of operations and customer service manager
of Plastics Additives for North America. Three years
later he was named Building Products marketing manager,
Plastics North America.
In 1990, Mr. Hoechner relocated
to Singapore as the company's business development manager
for Plastics Additives, Asia-Pacific, working with our
joint venture partner, Kureha Chemical. Transferring to
Philadelphia in 1994, he was named the North American group
marketing manager for Paper, Textile and Nonwovens Business
Unit. In 1996, he became the
worldwide business unit director for Leather Chemicals.
In
1997, Mr. Hoechner returned to the Asia-Pacific Region
as general manager of Rohm and Haas Thailand and Building
Products business manager for Asia-Pacific. Returning to
the Philadelphia in 1999, he was named global business
director of the Textile, Nonwovens and Leather businesses.
In
2000, Mr. Hoechner was promoted to director, e-Transformation. In
this position, he led the Rohm and Haas worldwide business
process redesign, ERP implementation and e-Business. During
this time, he was appointed to the Elemica Board of Directors.
In January 2007, Mr. Hoechner began his current role at
Rohm and Haas as General Manager, Paint and Coatings Materials,
Asia-Pacific (outside India). In September 2007, he was
elected a Vice President.
Mr. Hoechner earned his B.S. degree
in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University
in 1981. In 1989, he completed the Wharton Executive Management
Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School

 Geoff
Hurwitz joined Rohm and Haas in 1981 as manager of U.S.
state government relations, after service in the Peace
Corps in Thailand. In 1990, he became director of U.S.
federal and state government relations and then director
of Government Relations two years later. He was elected
Vice President in 2004.
Since then, Mr. Hurwitz has overseen the development of
strategic government relations and lobbying efforts in
other areas of the world – first in Europe and, most
recently, in China. Today he directs corporate lobbying
and government relations activities globally, including
issues management, relationships with elected officials
and serves as the primary company representative for interactions
with key industry associations, including the American
Chemistry Council.
Mr. Hurwitz holds a B.A. degree in History and Political
Science from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A.
degree in International Affairs from American University.
He is a board member of the Public Affairs Council and
is a member of the Business-Government Relations Council.
He
and his wife are residents of Falls Church, Virginia.

 Philip
G. Lewis joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1983 as associate
corporate medical director. He was
promoted to corporate medical director in 1988. Dr.
Lewis was named director of Safety, Health and Environmental
Affairs in 1989. In 1993, he was given responsibility
for Product Integrity and elected a vice president.
Before
joining the company, he served as Chief of Preventive
Medicine and Epidemiologist for the III Corps and Darnall
Army Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas.
Dr. Lewis received
a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry from Widener
University in 1972; a master of public health in epidemiology
from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public
Health, and a doctor of medicine from the Johns Hopkins
University School of Medicine both in 1976. He
finished his residency in general preventive medicine
in 1978 at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research
in Washington, D.C., and his clinical fellowship in dermatology,
occupational and environmental medicine at Johns Hopkins
Medical Institutions in 1983.
Dr. Lewis is a teaching
associate in the Division of Occupational Medicine, Department
of Environmental Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins
University Bloomberg School of Public Health and the
Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine of
the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He
is a Fellow of both the American College of Preventive
Medicine and the American College of Occupational and
Environmental Medicine. Dr.
Lewis is a member of the board of trustees for
Widener University.
Dr. Lewis is the recipient of numerous
honors, including the George M. Sternberg Medal for Excellence
in Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology. He is widely
published and has lectured extensively on preventive,
occupational and environmental medicine, public health,
risk assessment, risk management and sustainable development.

 Robert
A. Lonergan joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1999 as vice
president and general counsel. Mr. Lonergan
is responsible for all of the Company’s legal affairs,
directing the efforts of 50 Rohm and Haas in-house attorneys,
and outside law firms. Mr. Lonergan is also responsible
for ensuring that the company continues to meet compliance,
regulatory, safety, environmental, and employment law
obligations in the more than 100 countries in which Rohm
and Haas conducts business. In 2002, he was elected
corporate secretary.
Mr. Lonergan began his career and
honed his litigation skills with the antitrust group
at Cadwalader, Wickersham, & Taft
(New York, NY) and supervised antitrust, securities,
product liability, toxic tort, and trademark litigation
as counsel for Bethlehem Steel Corporation (Bethlehem,
PA). Mr. Lonergan held the position of vice president,
general counsel and secretary at Kusan, Inc. (Brentwood,
TN) and later served as vice president, general counsel,
secretary and board member for Kennecott Corp. (Salt
Lake City, UT), where he was responsible for all legal
affairs at this mining and heavy metals company. Immediately
before coming to Rohm and Haas, Mr. Lonergan served as
senior vice president, general counsel and secretary
at Pegasus Gold Inc. (Spokane, WA), an international
natural resources company.
He earned his A.B. degree in
English Literature at Fordham College. After serving
as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army in Vietnam,
he received his J.D. from Fordham University School of
Law (1975). Mr. Lonergan
completed the Finance for Senior Executives Program at
the Harvard Business School (1997).
Mr. Lonergan serves
on the Science, Technology and Law Committee of the National
Academy of Sciences; as a trustee of the Atlantic Legal
Foundation, the Institute for Law and Economics at the
University of Pennsylvania, and the Walnut Street Theatre;
as a director of the National Association of Manufacturers,
the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and the
Corporate Executive Board of the Philadelphia Museum
of Art; and is a founding member of the Independence
Mall Business and Residents Coalition.

 Richard
R. Lovely joined Rohm and Haas in 2007 as Vice President
and Corporate Director of Human Resources. He was named
Executive Vice President in 2008.
Mr. Lovely leads the
company’s Human Resources
function and guides the company’s workforce strategies.
Mr.
Lovely is an experienced Human Resources executive with
23 years of professional assignments in a variety of
organizations and corporate cultures, most recently serving
as Vice President, Human Resources for Tyco International’s
Fire and Security business. Prior to his Tyco role, He
held Human Resource management positions both in the
U.S. and in Europe for First USA/Bank One, and for PepsiCo.
A native of the New York City area, he
is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S.), as well as
Georgetown University (J.D.). He resides in Newtown,
Pennsylvania with his family.

 Thomas
D. Macphee joined Rohm and Haas in 1978 as a process
chemist and since that time has worked in numerous
areas including manufacturing, polymer
operations and new ventures. In 1992 he was named vice
president of marketing and finance for Plaskon, an
electronic materials subsidiary of Rohm and Haas.
In
1995 Mr. Macphee joined the Corporate Strategic Planning
group and was named director in 1999. In
this role he has responsibility for strategic planning,
acquisitions & divestitures and venture investing. He
also has responsibility for new business development
including oversight of Rohm and Haas' Advanced Materials
and other emerging businesses – both internal
and external.
Mr. Macphee earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry
from University of Delaware in 1976. He holds
a M.B.A. in Finance from Temple University in 1982.
Mr.
Macphee serves on the Board of Directors of the Economy
League of Greater Philadelphia.

 Cathie
Markham joined Rodel, now Rohm and Haas Electronic
Materials CMP Technologies, in 2002 as Director of
Pad Technology after 20 years experience in the petrochemical
industry including managing R&D, global technical
service, engineering, new business development and
leading organizational improvement activities.
She became Vice President of Technology
in 2004 responsible for CMP product research, development,
scale-up and technical service. In 2006, she took
on CTO responsibilities for the Electronic Materials
portfolio. Ms. Markham joined the Leadership Council
in January 2008. She
was also elected Vice President in 2008.
She earned a bachelor’s degree
in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.
Ms. Markham has authored multiple papers and patents.
She is a member of the AIChE and on the executive committee
for the CMP Planarization conference.
She resides in Earleville, Maryland.

 Cheryl
A. Martin joined Rohm and Haas in 1988 as a Senior
Scientist for Plastics Additives. In 1993, she became
Quality Systems Manager for the corporation, helping
establish quality control data systems for manufacturing
sites throughout North America. In 1994 she returned
to Plastics Additives in both research and marketing.
In 1999, Dr. Martin became Worldwide Market Manager
for Specialty Coatings. From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Martin
was Director, Investor Relations where she was responsible
for the company’s interactions
and relationships with the investment community. In
2003, she became Director, Financial Planning, and
took on the responsibility for the planning, forecasting
and management reporting activities of the company.
In 2005, Dr. Martin was named General Manager of the
company’s Adhesives and Sealants business in
North America. She assumed joint responsibility for
the global business in April 2006.
Dr. Martin is the
General Manager for the Paint and Coatings Materials
business in Europe. In this role, she is responsible
for all aspects of the business in this region. She
was elected a Vice President in September 2007.
Dr.
Martin earned an A.B. degree in Chemistry from the
College of the Holy Cross in 1984. She went on to earn
a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1989.
She has been
active in the American Chemical Society (ACS) and has
served on a number of non-profit Boards in Philadelphia
including the Corporate Alliance for Drug Education
(CADE), and Womens Way.
She lives in Switzerland.

 Jean-Francois
Mayer joined the company in 1980 as the financial controller
for Rohm and Haas France. In 1984, he became financial
manager for Duolite, an ion exchange resin manufacturer
that was purchased by Rohm and Haas. He transferred
to Petroleum Chemicals in 1987, where he became sales
manager; he was named business manager for Petroleum
Chemicals, Europe, in 1991. In 1996, a joint venture,
RohMax, was formed between Rohm and Haas and Röhm
GmbH for the research, manufacture and sale of petroleum
additives. Mr. Mayer was named project leader for this
new venture.
Mr. Mayer left the company in 1998 to join the Arnaud
Group, a leading chemical distributor in Europe, where
he served as general manager, Paris. Rejoining Rohm
and Haas in 2000, Mr. Mayer was named project leader
for the divestiture of the Agricultural Chemicals business.
Mr. Mayer served as Director of Procurement from 2001
to 2005. In that role, he oversaw the annual acquisition
more than $3 billion in materials, energy, supplies
and services. In 2005, Mr. Mayer was named Director
of Eastern Europe, where he is responsible for developing,
integrating and supporting the company’s growth
efforts in this important part of the world. He was
appointed a Vice President in September 2007.
Mr. Mayer obtained an MBA in Finance from the Paris
Business School in 1976, and an MBA from Western Illinois
University in 1977. He was a professor of Finance at
the Graduate Business School in Abidjan, Ivory Coast,
from 1978 to 1980, as part of his military service.
Mr.
Mayer resides in Switzerland.

 John
F. McKeogh joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1976 as director
of Corporate Communications and Public Relations. He
was elected vice president in 1999. In 2005, Mr.
McKeogh was named director of Public Affairs.
In his current
position, Mr. McKeogh is responsible for a wide range
of corporate activities dealing with the company’s
external stakeholders and public issues. In
addition, he supports the Chairman’s Office in
matters relating to Communications, Sustainable Development
and Board Governance.
After completing his military service
in 1966, he joined Scott Paper Company in Chester, PA. In
1967, he was named Operations Manager for College Relations,
and later assumed responsibility for management development,
employee communications and community affairs at Scott's
largest manufacturing facility.
In 1972, he joined First
Pennsylvania Corporation as Director of Public Relations. Mr.
McKeogh was elected a vice president in 1974.
A native
of Philadelphia, Mr. McKeogh is a graduate of LaSalle
University, and later attended the University of Texas
(El Paso) Graduate School of Journalism. He
earned his MBA from Widener University and holds an MS
from the University of Pennsylvania. He has also
completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard
University’s Graduate School of Business.
Mr. McKeogh
and his wife, reside in Churchville, Pennsylvania.

 Mr.
McPeak joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1986, as Public
Affairs Manager and has served in a variety of subsequent
communication and public affairs positions including
manufacturing and environmental communications, organizational
communications, philanthropy, and financial communications.
In
2005, he was named Director, Communications and Public
Relations. In May, 2007 he was elected Vice-President
of Rohm and Haas Company by the Board of Directors.
Mr.
McPeak came to Rohm and Haas from the American Water
Works Service Company where he was director of Community
Relations and coordinated communications efforts for
water utilities in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Mr.
McPeak graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A.
degree in English. and an M.S. degree from the University
of Pennsylvania. He and his wife reside in Audubon, New
Jersey, with their four children.

 Kim
Ann Mink joined Rohm and Haas in 1988 as a Group Leader
in the Analytical Research Department. In
1991, she then became the Corporate Regulatory Affairs
Manager in the Product Integrity Department with responsibility
of managing programs to obtain and maintain FDA approvals
for the use of Rohm and Haas products in FDA areas. Since
1995, Dr. Mink has had several commercial roles of increasing
responsibility, regionally and globally, including, NAR
Account Manager, Petroleum Chemicals; Americas Marketing
Manager and NAR Commercial Manager, Consumer and Industrial
Specialties; Global General Manager for the Water Business
in Process Chemicals; and Americas General Manager for
Process Chemicals. Most recently she was appointed
the General Manager for the Worldwide Ion Exchange Resins
Business. She was elected a Vice President in 2007.
Dr. Mink received her B.A. in chemistry
from Hamilton College and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry
from Duke University. In addition, she is a graduate
of the Wharton School of Business Management Program.
She
lives with her family in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.

 Guillermo
Novo joined the Rohm and Haas Company in 1986 as a
financial analyst for Polymers and Resins in the Latin
American region. Through the years, he has held positions
of increasing responsibility in Latin America including:
account manager of Adhesives and Textiles/Non-wovens
(1987), account manager of Construction Products (1989),
and sales manager for the South Cone (1990).
He relocated
to the company's headquarters in Philadelphia in 1993
where he served as market manager for Construction
Products.
In 1996, Mr. Novo left Philadelphia to
become the country manager for Rohm and Haas operations
in Indonesia, where he assumed additional responsibilities
for Specialty Polymers as Asia-Pacific regional business
manager. Mr. Novo returned to Latin America in 1998
as regional director. He was promoted to the position
of vice president and a member of the company's Leadership
Council in 1999.
Returning to the corporate headquarters
in 2002, he was named vice president and business unit
director for the Consumer and Industrial Specialties
business. In
2007, Mr. Novo was named vice president and business
unit director for the new Process Chemicals and Biocides
business.
In addition to his business unit responsibilities,
in 2005 Guillermo assumed leadership for the Rohm and
Haas Corporate-wide Diversity Efforts. In this
role, he drives the company's culture change process
and establishes the linkage of diversity to the business
strategy.
Mr. Novo is a member of the board of
directors for the United Way of Southeast Pennsylvania.
He served as President of the United Way in Brazil
(Associacao Caminhando Juntos) from 2000 to 2001.
Mr.
Novo earned his B.S. in Engineering at the University
of Central Florida in 1984, and his MBA from the University
of Michigan in 1986.

 Yi
Hyon Paik joined Rohm and Haas in 1990 as a senior
scientist in the Research Division in Spring House,
Pennsylvania, after two years as a Research Fellow
at Columbia University in New York.
In 1995, Dr. Paik
became the Korean country manager for Shipley Company,
a Rohm and Haas subsidiary that later would become
part of Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials. Dr.
Paik returned to the Philadelphia area in 1997 as manager
of Strategic Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions. In
this position, he helped manage the corporate planning
process for Rohm and Haas Company, and negotiated several
transactions, including acquisitions and alliances
in the Asia-Pacific Region.
In 1999, Dr. Paik moved
to Japan to become vice chairman of Shipley Far East
Ltd. Two years later, he
was named chairman and CEO of Shipley Far East and
president of Shipley Asia, responsible for the full
range of Electronic Materials businesses in the Asia-Pacific
region. He relocated to the United States to become
president of the Microelectronic Technologies business
unit in 2004, and was promoted to his current position
in 2007.
Dr. Paik was elected a vice president
of Rohm and Haas Company, and made a member of the
Leadership Council, in July 2002.
He holds B.S. and
M.S. degrees in Chemistry from Seoul National University
(1979 and 1981, respectively), and a Ph.D. degree in
Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh (1987).
Dr.
Paik and his wife reside in Princeton Junction, New
Jersey.

Director, Packaging and Finishing Technologies
 David
N. Schram joined LeaRonal in 1973 and held various
positions of increasing responsibility, including research
manager, corporate technical coordinator, and assistant
vice president and director of Marketing. He was
promoted to vice president of Sales and Marketing in
1994.
When LeaRonal became part of Shipley
in 1999, Mr. Schram was named vice president of Global
Sales for Shipley Ronal, and a year later became president
of Shipley Ronal's Electronic and Industrial Finishing
Division. In
2004, the company’s name was changed to Rohm
and Haas Electronic Materials, and shortly thereafter,
the business unit’s name was changed to Packaging
and Finishing Technologies (PFT). Mr. Schram
leads this business from PFT’s administration,
manufacturing, and research facility in Freeport, New
York.
He became a member of the Rohm and Haas
Leadership Council in 2002, and was elected a Rohm
and Haas Company vice president in 2006. Mr.
Schram, who has co-authored numerous patents in electronic
finishing, has more than 30 years of experience in
the electronics and surface finishing industry.
Mr.
Schram and his family reside in Northport, New York.

 Joan
Schuller joined Rohm and Haas in 1993 as a Project
Engineer in the company's Engineering Division. She
went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility
including Rohm and Haas Asia-Pacific Region General
Manager, Plastics Additives; Sales Manager, AFC Eastern
North America, Global Director, Paint Quality Institute,
and Project Manager, Landskrona Plant Expansion
Ms.
Schuller began her current role at Rohm and Haas as
General Manager, Packaging and Building Materials,
Asia-Pacific (outside India). In this capacity she
has the responsibility and resources to develop the
right strategy and the right business model to ensure
a sustainable, profitable financial performance, and
to develop and retain talent. She was appointed a Vice
President in September 2007.
Ms. Schuller earned her
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University
in 1993 and MBA in Finance from Temple University in
1999.
She and her family reside in Singapore.

 Sam
Shoemaker joined Morton’s Electronic Materials
Division in the United States in 1984. He held
several positions of increasing responsibility in Research
and Development and Technical Service before becoming
a product manager in 1989.
In 1993, Mr. Shoemaker was
promoted to Morton’s
Regional Sales and Marketing manager for Asia. After
Rohm and Haas acquired Morton in 1999, Mr. Shoemaker
became a business director in the company’s Electronic
Materials business group. Two years later, he
was named managing director for ShipleyRonal in Asia
for the businesses that are today part of the Packaging
and Finishing Technologies and Circuit Board Technologies
businesses.
In 2005, Mr. Shoemaker was asked to serve
as the director, Asia-Pacific region (APR) for Electronic
Materials, and that same year, he accepted broader
responsibilities as the Company’s overall director
for APR Strategic Planning. His responsibilities
were enhanced in 2005 when he was promoted to APR regional
director for Rohm and Haas and named business unit
director for the Circuit Board Technologies business
unit. He
assumed his current position in 2007.
Mr. Shoemaker
was elected a vice president of Rohm and Haas Company
in 2005.
He earned his B.A. degree in Chemistry
from the University of San Diego in 1986.
He
and his family reside in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.

 Anne
M. Wilms joined Rohm and Haas in 1999 as Vice President
and Chief Information Officer. She has global responsibility
for all aspects of Information Technology. She held the
position of Director of Human Resources between June
of 2005 and June 2007.
Previously with Sonat, Inc. (Birmingham,
AL), Ms. Wilms served as Vice President and Chief Information
Officer responsible for all corporate and subsidiary
computing, telecommunications, IT infrastructure and
operating company applications. Earlier in her career,
she held a variety of IT management positions, including
work for Oracle Corporation (Redwood City, CA) and as
Director of Information Systems for Wisconsin Power and
Light (Madison, WI).
Ms. Wilms is a board member of NPower
National, the Red Cross SE Pennsylvania, a member of
the Villanova University CIO Advisory Council.

 Gray
Wirth joined Rohm and Haas in 1995 as an account manager
for the company’s Agricultural Chemicals
business. Ensuing assignments included greater responsibility
within Agricultural Chemicals as a global product manager
in 1997, and then regional brand manager for the Americas
in 1999. Mr. Wirth relocated to Frankfurt, Germany in
2000 to become the European Region Marketing Manager
for the Architectural and Functional Coatings business.
In 2002, Mr. Wirth became Business Director for AgroFresh.
In 2005, Mr. Wirth was elected a vice president and named
Business Unit Director for the company’s Monomers
business.
In 2007, Mr. Wirth accepted the role of
Director of the European Region.
Mr. Wirth previous work
experience included four years with the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers as a commissioned officer.
He earned his Bachelor
of Science degree in Agriculture from Cornell University
in 1989 and received his MBA from the Graduate School
of Business at Harvard University in 1995.
He and his

 Dominic
C. Yang joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1996 as general
manager of the Microelectronic Technologies business
unit in Korea. In 2000, Dr. Yang was
promoted director of Technology and Technical Marketing
for Microelectronic Technologies’ Asia-Pacific
region, and two years later became the business’s
Asia-Pacific region general manager. He expanded
his responsibilities in 2005 when he was named Asia-Pacific
region general manager for both the CMP Technologies
and Microelectronic Technologies businesses.
Prior to
joining Rohm and Haas, Dr. Yang was an Advanced Material
and Lithographic Process Module Development engineer
at Motorola’s Semiconductor Fabrication
division in Austin, Texas. He was also employed
by IBM in East Fishkill, New York, where he held technical
positions of increasing responsibility in Materials Development,
including Photosensitive Material Development team leader
and Cost Performance Packaging Program manager. He
began his career at MIT in 1986 as a polymer and catalyst
chemist.
Dr. Yang was promoted to his current position,
and joined the Rohm and Haas Company Leadership Council,
in January 2007. He was appointed a Vice President in
September 2007.
He earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry (1981)
and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (1986), both from the University
of Chicago.
Dr. Yang lives in Seoul, Korea,
with his family.
