North American Culture Programs
We are fortunate to enjoy arts and culture organizations throughout our many regions. Rohm and Haas Company takes part in many cultural programs through its continued longtime partnerships with schools, museums and performing arts groups. We are proud of our deep associations with these substantial cultural institutions and of our belief that these and other partnerships help improve the quality of life where we work and live.
The Kimmel Center
The Kimmel Center is a leading cultural institution providing an array of programming in the Philadelphia region. Rohm and Haas supports the Center by helping fund the state-of-the-art education complex where both young and old can explore music and the arts. It is also used for cataloging resource books, videos, CD’s, and other valuable learning materials.
NPower
NPower helps non profit organizations develop practical, realistic and measurable plans to implement appropriate Information Technology solutions. Rohm and Haas provides funding and employee volunteer expertise. This enables a wide array of non-profit organizations in the arts and culture arena to achieve greater effectiveness.
Barnes Foundation
The Barnes Foundation's mission is to promote the advancement of education and the appreciation of fine art and horticulture. Educational resources include one of the most exceptional art collections in the world, art and horticulture libraries, and a twelve-acre Arboretum featuring many rare and mature plants not usually hardy in this region.
Settlement Music School
Settlement Music School is celebrated around the world for its commitment and gift of music education to over 300,000 individuals regardless of age or socio-economic status. Rohm and Haas is honored to serve as their Centennial Presenting Sponsor as we will celebrate our centennial in 2009.
University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology
