Jacarei Assistance for Minors
Twelve employee volunteers from the Rohm and Haas Brasil facility at Jacarei tutor and mentor 30 students, aged 16 to 18, from the Jacarei Assistance for Minors. Tutoring support for the students is provided in Portuguese, mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Vocational Apprenticeship Program
Personnel at the Rohm and Haas Zárate plant in Argentina established accords with Delta Campana University and the Almirante Brown School of Technical Education, permitting apprenticeships within the plant. At present, five trainees work shifts at the company three times a week to supplement their technical education at university. |
