Vision

Corporate Giving Vision
To improve the quality of life in Rohm and Haas host communities by aligning the company’s business objectives with a responsibility to employees, stockholders and the general public.

Corporate Giving Mission
To advance both the Company’s goal of being a Responsible Neighbor and valued corporate citizen, and the quality of science and math education worldwide.

Corporate Giving Strategy
To work in partnership with local community leaders and Company employees to determine how Rohm and Haas resources can have the greatest impact on local needs.


Corporate Giving Values

Leadership: Provide leadership to address appropriate community issues and needs where the Company, as a Responsible Neighbor, can have a favorable and significant impact.

Partnership: Partner with employees, customers, community organizations, governmental, and private sector entities to support and improve local quality of life and impact sustainability.

Image and Relationships: Expand Company’s visibility and image as a Responsible Neighbor with Rohm and Haas stakeholders including employees, customers, shareholders, its neighbors and host-community leaders.

Corporate Giving Principles

To encourage employee involvement in community organizations and programs that support the concepts of Responsible Neighbor and good corporate citizenship, and/or promote the quality of science and math education.

To add value through Company contributions by leveraging resources, including employee volunteers and product donations.

To incorporate the environmental, social and economic practices of sustainable development into charitable giving decisions.
