Health and Safety Fair
In conjunction with its policy to promote safety as a priority among its workforce, Rohm and Haas China launched a Health and Safety Fair in Beijing, featuring a variety of workshops, exhibits and activities. Dozens of Rohm and Haas employees, their families and residents from surrounding host communities attended.

In Shanghai, similar activities held in conjunction with International SOS (the world's largest medical assistance company) and the International Medical Association, attracted hundreds of Rohm and Haas employees and their families.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute
For many years, Rohm and Haas Australia Pty. Ltd. has supported cancer research and treatment, particularly for children. Beginning in 2002, the company has hosted several of the Cancer Institute’s young patients and their caregivers for a much-needed break at the Foster’s Australian Grand Prix. Employee volunteers accompany the attendees, who enjoy premium seats, a catered meal and access to the grid.
