Raj
L. Gupta joined Rohm and Haas in 1971 as
a financial analyst. He held positions
of increasing responsibility during the decade,
including a two-year stint as special assistant
to the president of the company.
In 1979, he began work in Europe,
first as financial manager of the U.K. subsidiary,
then as strategic planning director for the
region, and finally as assistant manager
for the company's substantial operations
in France. In
1984, Mr. Gupta was named business
manager for Ion Exchange Resins in Europe. In
1987, he took on the responsibilities of
business director for Plastics in Europe. Two
years later, Mr. Gupta became business unit
director for the worldwide Plastics Additives
business.
He was elected a vice president
of the company and was named director for
the Pacific Region in 1993. Early
in 1996, Mr. Gupta became one of six members
of the Chairman's Committee and given oversight
responsibility for the company's Electronic
Materials business group.
In December 1998, Mr. Gupta
was elected to the Board of Directors and
named Vice Chairman in January 1999. He
became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
on October 1, 1999. Mr. Gupta assumed
the additional title of President in early
2005.
Mr. Gupta holds a B.S. degree
in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology (1967), a M.S. degree
in Operations Research from Cornell University
(1969), and a M.B.A. in Finance from Drexel
University (1972).
Mr. Gupta is the immediate
past Chairman of the American Chemistry Council,
and the Society of Chemical Industry, America
Section. He sits on the board of trustees
for Drexel University. He is a member
of the boards of Tyco, The Vanguard Group,
the American Chemistry Council, and the Chemical
Heritage Foundation.
He and his wife, Kamla, are
residents of St. Davids, Pennsylvania.

Alan
E. Barton heads the company's worldwide Coatings
business. This business includes a
wide array of technologies used to make key
ingredients for interior and exterior paints,
industrial coatings, specialty finishes for
leather, textiles and nonwovens, automotive
paints and powder coatings for use in both
industrial and furniture applications.
Dr. Barton joined Rohm and
Haas in 1984 as a senior research scientist
in the Agricultural Chemicals business. Over
the next six years, he held positions of
increasing responsibility in Agricultural
Chemicals, Industrial Coatings and Architectural
Coatings.
In 1991, he accepted the position
of Business Development manager, Polymers
and Resins, and moved to the Rohm and Haas
location in Frankfurt, Germany. While
in Europe, Dr. Barton took on increasing
leadership roles in Industrial and Architectural
Coatings. Returning to the United States
in 1997, he was named business manager, North
America and worldwide business director for
Coatings. He was elected a vice president
of Rohm and Haas in 1999, and named to the
Executive Council in 2001.
Dr. Barton holds a B.A. degree
in Chemistry from Oxford University in the
United Kingdom (1978), and a Ph.D. in Organic
Chemistry from Harvard University (1984).
He is a member of the board
of directors of Technitrol, Inc.
He and his wife, Cheryl, and
their children reside in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.

Pierre
R. Brondeau joined Rohm and Haas Company
in May 1989 as European marketing manager
for the Plastics Additives business unit
located in Paris. In 1991, he transferred
to Valbonne, France to head the Technical
Service and Development Laboratories.
Dr. Brondeau was promoted to
director of Plastics Additives Research in
1993, and moved to Shipley Company as director
of Research, Sales and Marketing in 1995. Since
then, Dr. Brondeau has held top leadership
positions at Shipley Company, including vice
president, Operations and Technology (1997),
and president, chief operating officer (1999). In
April 1999, Dr. Brondeau was named vice president
for Rohm and Haas Company, business group
director of the Electronic Materials Division,
and president and CEO of Electronic Materials.
Relocating to Paris, France
in 2003, Dr. Brondeau took on the added responsibility
of director for the European Region.
Prior to joining Rohm and Haas,
Dr. Brondeau worked at Air Liquide in France. He
earned a B.S. degree in Biochemical Engineering
at INSA France (1980), a M.S. degree in Biochemical
Engineering at the University of Montpellier,
France (1981), and a Ph.D. in Biochemical
Engineering at the University of Toulouse,
France (1983).
Dr. Brondeau lives in Philadelphia with his family.

Jacques
M. Croisetière was elected a vice
president of Rohm and Haas Company in 1999
when the company purchased Morton International,
Inc. He was named business director
of Ion Exchange Resins at that time. Two
years later, he took on the additional responsibility
of the Inorganic Specialty Solutions business,
as well as director of the European Region,
based in Paris, France.
Relocating to the Philadelphia
headquarters in May 2003, Mr. Croisetière
was elected Chief Financial Officer effective
June 1, 2003.
Mr. Croisetière joined
Morton International, Inc. (MII) in 1990
as vice president of Finance for Canadian
Salt. Three years later, he assumed
the additional responsibility for MIS for
the Morton Salt group. Relocating
to Chicago in 1994, he was named vice president
of Finance for Adhesives and Specialty Polymers. In
1996, he was named vice president, Finance
and Administration, of the Automotive Safety
Product Division of MII in Ogden, Utah. Two
years later, Mr. Croisetière was named
vice president and general manager of Plastic
Additives, Biocides and Sealants.
Before joining Morton, Mr.
Croisetière served as director of
Finance for Canadelle Inc., a division of
Sara Lee, from 1983 to 1990. Previously,
he held financial positions at the Bank of
Montreal, Master Card Division.
Mr. Croisetière earned
his B.S. degree in Finance from the University
of Montreal in 1985.
Mr. Croisetière and
his wife, Marthe, reside in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania.

Robert
A. Lonergan joined Rohm and Haas Company
in 1999 as vice president and general counsel. Mr.
Lonergan is responsible for all of the Company’s
legal affairs, directing the efforts of 50
Rohm and Haas in-house attorneys, and scores
of outside law firms. Mr. Lonergan
is also responsible for ensuring that the
company continues to meet compliance, regulatory,
safety, environmental, and employment law
obligations in the more than 100 countries
in which Rohm and Haas conducts business. In
2002, he was elected corporate secretary.
Mr. Lonergan began his career
and honed his litigation skills with the
antitrust group at Cadwalader, Wickersham, & Taft
(New York, NY) and supervised antitrust,
securities, product liability, toxic tort,
and trademark litigation as counsel for Bethlehem
Steel Corporation (Bethlehem, PA). Mr.
Lonergan held the position of vice president,
general counsel and secretary at Kusan, Inc.
(Brentwood, TN) and later served as vice
president, general counsel, secretary and
board member for Kennecott Corp. (Salt Lake
City, UT), where he was responsible for all
legal affairs at this mining and heavy metals
company. Immediately before coming
to Rohm and Haas, Mr. Lonergan served as
senior vice president, general counsel and
secretary at Pegasus Gold Inc. (Spokane,
WA), an international natural resources company.
He earned his A.B. degree in
English Literature at Fordham College. After
serving as an intelligence officer in the
U.S. Army in Vietnam, he received his J.D.
from Fordham University School of Law (1975). Mr.
Lonergan also completed the Finance for Senior
Executives Program at the Harvard Business
School (1997).
Mr. Lonergan serves on the
Science, Technology and Law Committee of
the National Academy of Sciences; as a trustee
of the Atlantic Legal Foundation, the Institute
for Law and Economics at the University of
Pennsylvania, and the Walnut Street Theatre;
as a director of the National Association
of Manufacturers, the Greater Philadelphia
Chamber of Commerce, and the Corporate Executive
Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art;
and is a founding member of the Independence
Mall Business and Residents Coalition.
Mr. Lonergan and his wife,
Marsha, live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Anne
M. Wilms joined Rohm and Haas in 1999 as
Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
She has global responsibility for all aspects
of Information Technology. In January of
2005 she was appointed to the Executive Council.
In June of 2005 she was named Director, Human
Resources.
Previously with Sonat, Inc. (Birmingham,
AL), Ms. Wilms served as Vice President and
Chief Information Officer responsible for
all corporate and subsidiary computing, telecommunications,
IT infrastructure and operating company applications.
Earlier in her career, she held a variety
of IT management positions, including work
for Oracle Corporation (Redwood City, CA)
and as Director of Information Systems for
Wisconsin Power and Light (Madison, WI).
Ms. Wilms is a board member of NPower National,
the Red Cross SE Pennsylvania, a member of
the Villanova University CIO Advisory Council.
Ms. Wilms and her family reside in Bryn Mawr,
Pennsylvania.
