Rohm and Haas has a long experience within the formulations area and has built a broad portfolio of Advanced Release Technologies based around functional polymers, including ion exchange resins, to improve the delivery of drugs.  In addition to meeting customer requirements for existing products, Rohm and Haas is keen to discuss new products and ideas to meet the ever increasing demands within the area.

AMBERLITE^™ Ion Exchange Resins are currently used as active ingredients and as excipients for Nicotine Polacrilex USP,  taste-masking, tablet disintegration, sustained release and drug stabilization.  All of these products are manufactured at our cGMP facilities in Chauny, France.

 

AMBERLITE^™ Ion Exchange Resins have been used for many years within this market and are fully supported by DMF/CMC files.  The current range of products continue to find novel uses and in order to help identify the appropriate products, a guide has been developed. This guide can also be used to identify drug substances which could be considered as a candidate to benefit from Rohm and Haas technologies and know-how in this area.  In addition to the guide, Rohm and Haas has published an article entitled "Ion Exchange Resins.
