to form a safety partnership.
Safety partnership’s goal:
To enhance the safety
of every volunteer working
on this and all future
Habitat projects
As a result of its partnership
with Rohm and Haas,
Habitat for Humanity
has implemented many useful procedures in its safety program.
Thanks to a suggestion
from Rohm and Haas,
Habitat now appoints a volunteer Safety Captain on every shift.
Rohm and Haas has donated
hard hats, safety gloves and hearing protection—
even a new pump jack system
and new scaffolding, equipped with updated safety features for the protection of the workers.
