A number of Amberlite™ and IMAC™ products can be used to remove nitrate from water depending on your water composition and system design.

If the water contains little sulfate, Amberlite PWA6 resin will remove nitrate efficiently. If the quantity of sulfate is higher than that of nitrate, Amberlite PWA5 resin, which has high nitrate selectivity, is the product of choice.

IMAC HP555 is a ready to use, nitrate selective ion exchange resin designed for point-of-use applications such as cartridges in carafes or under-the-sink.
