| Natural Organic Matter (NOM)
can be reversibly removed from surface and shallow
aquifer water using acrylic anion exchange resins
with a NaCl regeneration. This reduces color, trihalomethanes
(THM's) and other similar disinfection by-products
(DBP's) that are formed during chlorination processes. |
