Rohm and Haas Announces Price Increase for
Transportation Adhesives Products in Asia Pacific
PHILADELPHIA, PA, August 1, 2006 – Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants business will implement a 5-7% price increase for all products sold to the transportation industries in Asia Pacific. The increase will apply to all prices and will take effect August 1, 2006, or as contracts allow.
This action is necessitated by the continued escalation in raw material costs, including record high prices for some key raw materials, as well as freight and energy costs.
