Rohm and Haas Announces Price Increase
For Pressure Sensitive and Construction Adhesives Products
in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific
PHILADELPHIA, PA – June 14, 2006 – Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants business will implement a 5% price increase for all acrylic and styrene acrylic emulsion and solution polymer products sold to the pressure sensitive, construction adhesive, caulk and sealant industries in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The increase will apply to all prices and will take effect July 1, 2006, or as contracts allow.
This action is necessitated by the continued escalation in raw material costs, including record high propylene, as well as freight and energy costs.
